[UPDATED] Authorities identify man who jumped into Lagos Lagoon . #Nigeria

A man , identified as Oluseyi Adekunle , on Friday jumped into the Lagoon in Lagos from the Lekki - Ikoyi Link Bridge.
Witnesses claimed Adekunle jumped over the rails and into the Lagoon after dropping his bag . His ATM card and other items were recovered from the scene of the incident , thereby revealing his identity .
After a four - hour search without recovery of the body , the officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and the Marine Police Authorities called off the search operation .
